Missing your fix of a boat show in January? Then, why not join us at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January 2019. The Düsseldorf Boat Show will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019 with over 2,000 exhibitors and an expected 250,000 visitors in 16 Halls – so a bit bigger than the last London Excel show!

The show runs from 19 - 27 January, from 1000 to 1800 every day, including the final day.  The club trip will be over the final weekend of 26/27 January, as we have it on good authority that you need at least two days to see everything!  We will organise a club dinner on the Saturday evening for those who wish to join us.

Please register your interest on the club event page so that we know how many to expect and to book the Saturday evening dinner.  We are looking forward to seeing many of you there!

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased either at the door or online. It’s cheaper online and even cheaper if you join the Boot Club, which is free to join  (and you get a free welcome drink) by registering at https://www.boot.club/cgi-bin/md_bootclub/lib/pub/tt.cgi/Home.html?oid=1072&lang=2&ticket=g_u_e_s_t

Travel

The nearest airport is Düsseldorf International only 3km away and there are several airlines who regularly fly from the UK, including BA, Eurowings and Ryanair. There is the 896 bus that takes you from the airport to the showground or you can grab a taxi for a flat fare of €20. There is a left luggage facility at the show. Further details are on the Travel section of their website.

Hotels

The Hotel section of their website offers a number of hotels near the ground but there are plenty of other options, especially as your entrance ticket provides you with free public transport within Zone D.  Why not get a group of friends together and book an AirBnB?
