LAYING UP SUPPER 2025

This year's Laying Up Supper will be at Good Hotel London, Royal Victoria Dock, London. This is the main social event of the club's yearly activities and is a great opportunity for members, old and new, to gather together from all over the UK for a fun packed evening of food, wine and great company. The meal will be followed by the annual Club Awards.
The cost of the meal is £89
Good Hotel London https://goodhotel.co/london is a floating Hotel in Royal Victoria Dock, near the Royal Victoria DLR station, the Custom House Elizabeth Line station, the IFS Cloud Cable Car Royal Docks terminus and for those coming from further afield, London City Airport!
The hotel has a great bar and restaurant, with hotel rooms available at a 20% dicsount using the code 'S&CA', though please check to see if other discounts are available when booking. The restaurant can cater for up to fifty people so it is important that you make your reservation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The Laying Up Supper will start at 6pm with welcome drinks and canapés, with dinner served at 7:30pm and will be the Good Hotel Event Sharing Menu. The starters and mains will be put on the tables to share, while the individual plated choice of two puddings will be put on the tables to be chosen on the evening.
Please indicate on the booking form if you wish to have vegetarian or vegan food and complete the separate form for any dietry requirements.
Seating will be on round tables so please let us know if you'd like to be seated with others and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Dress Code: Smart casual, dinner jackets, tuxedos, dresses and frocks.
To reserve places for you and your guests, please complete the on-line registration as soon as possible, selecting vegetarian or vegan food, any dietry requirements and with whom you wish to be seated (if applicable).
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The event registration will close on Thursday 20 November to allow final numbers to be given to Good Hotel. The event has a maximum of fifty attendees and if this number is reached before 20 November, a waitlist will be created.
The club will endeavour to provide full refunds for event charges when cancellations are made by you through the Website by 20 November when event registration closes.
If the club has made third party bookings, paid deposits or made other commitments, it may be that only a partial refund or no refund is offered.
Where a refund is requested due to dissatisfaction with third party goods or services, a refund will only be offered if such refund is also made to the club by the third party.
