Our Laying Up Supper gets a fresh twist: food, drinks and sailing stories at Market Halls, London.
As another sailing season draws to a close, we’re doing things a little differently this year. Our traditional Laying Up Supper is getting a fresh new twist: The Rendezvous, a relaxed, informal evening of food, drinks and good company in the heart of London.
We’ve reserved a dedicated area just for S&CA members and their guests.
With 11 independent food outlets and several bars under one roof, there’s something for everyone. Grab a bite, have a few drinks or just settle in and catch up with fellow sailors, whatever suits you. There’s no formal dinner and no fixed menu, just great company and plenty of sailing stories.
You’re welcome to arrive any time from 6pm, but we’d love as many of you as possible to join us for our core gathering between 7:30pm and 9pm. At around 8pm we’ll raise a glass to the season with our annual club awards.
Whether you’ve been a member for years, are new to the club or are just thinking about joining, The Rendezvous is the perfect chance to reconnect with old friends and meet new faces. You might also find a skipper or crew and start making plans for next season.
Registration is free. Food and drinks can be bought individually from the outlets and bars at Market Halls. Please register in advance so we know you’re coming and can plan accordingly.

P.S. Rumour has it the Commodore is buying a round or two on the night, one more reason to come and join the S&CA crew!
