Overview

Organisers Jo Fraser & Liz Wall cordially invite you to the rearranged Treasure Hunt on Saturday 29 August 2026 — we’re sorry the original 6 June date had to be cancelled, but hopefully the weather will be kinder this time.

The theme is still Musicals: choose your favourite musical and dress up your boat, yourselves, and anyone else you can rope in, for a weekend of fun and frolics. There’ll be clues, games and, of course, prizes.

How It Works

New to a club Treasure Hunt? Each boat picks a musical to showcase, and dresses up as characters from it. There’s a prize for best costumes (not necessarily the most expensive!) and one for best-dressed boat. Along the way to our final destination, expect clues to find and tasks to complete.

Berthing at Bembridge

Our final stop on Saturday is Bembridge Harbour, followed by a BBQ in the marquee. Berthing space is limited, so please book directly with Bembridge Harbour Authority as soon as possible — there’s a 5% discount for booking online, plus a further 5% for rallies.

If you booked a berth for the original 6 June weekend, you can use that credit towards this booking. You can book one or two nights, if you’d like to stay on and enjoy Bembridge on the Sunday.

When booking online, use Rally Code SC298, and choose the Duver Marina Rafting Area (along the main Duver pontoon) rather than Duver Marina (finger pontoons), so we’re all together. Boats over 18m LOA, multihulls, and boats with a beam over 4m can’t book online and should call the Berthing Office on 01983 872828.

What You Need to Do

Register your attendance on the S&CA website or app, so we know numbers.
Book your berth directly with Bembridge Harbour.
On approach, contact the harbour by VHF for berthing instructions, stating you’re part of the Sailing & Cruising Association (S&CA) Rally.
Each boat should bring its own BBQ food to cook on the BBQs provided by Bembridge Harbour.
You can bring along friends — just add them as a guest when you register. Guests can only be added at the time of registration; if you’d like to add one later, contact the event host.

No Boat? No Problem
